In these tough and uncertain economic times there is a need for qualified and dependable computer services that are more reasonably priced than the large retailers and independent store-front repair centers.

We do the work on your equipment in your office or home whenever possible. This also saves you the time and risk of removing your equipment and bringing it to the service desk for repair and then doing the reverse getting it back.

We only charge for the services that are done and will discuss all charges up front prior to any work being started. We don’t sell equipment or software, but can recommend equipment that we know to be reliable for your application.

New Computer Set-up

Physically set up one PC system, including the computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers
Organize wires and cables with cable ties
Install one new software application (software not included)
Install one peripheral or external device, i.e. printer or external drive (device not included)
Configure your new computer to access your existing Internet account and one existing e-mail account
Test your computer to make sure it is functioning properly

Virus and Spyware Removal

Troubleshoot one computer
Remove all viruses, spyware, malware and rootkits on the computer
Re-install operating system (Windows) if virus can not be removed and you have OS re-installation disk
Perform operating system critical updates
Test operating system for proper functionality
Back up up to 10 GB of your data to external hard drive, DVD disk or Flash drive (DVD, External hard drive, or Flash drive not included)

Computer Tune-up

Perform system updates and improve PC speed and performance, Windows updating, quick launch and task bar cleanup and program shortcut creation
Enable basic security functions, including antiphishing and pop-up blocking activation in Internet Explorer
Remove unwanted programs and trialware
Create desired user accounts (if applicable)
Test and verify PC hardware and software functionality

Basic Computer Maintenance

Open computer up vacuum, clean all interior regions of computer
Insure all connectors and the system memory are seated properly

Printer Services

Setup and configuration of your new printer (local and network)
Resolution of printer issues

Backup

Transfer your data to your new computer or other media
Connect external hard drive to your computer. Install and configure software or use Windows backup utility to create a backup schedule that fits your needs (software is not included)
Create initial backup

Data Recovery

File System Damage (computer will not boot, drive not accessible)
Hard Drive from old computer

Software Installation/Repair

Determine computer compatibility
Install/repair and configure one software (software not included)
Perform necessary software updates
Create desktop and quick launch shortcuts

Hardware Installation

Install an internal or external PC component, such as a graphics card, hard drive, CD/DVD drive, printer or scanner
Install any included software that is necessary for functionality
Configure the PC component for applicable use

Training on your PC and related topics (software, basic PC skills, digital photo, digital video, digital music)
Teach Windows navigation
Introduction to web browser basics
Overview of any software suite included with the OS
Brief training on MP3 player software (iTunes), burning CD's and, copy (rip) your CD, and organize your new music library
